RESERVATION CHANGES:

If you drop a day from your reservation, a $40 cancellation fee will be assessed.

RESERVATION LENGTH:

Two-night minimums are no longer a requirement, unless multiple nights are required as part of a promotion or discount. There is, however, a standard discount for a multiple-night stay!

BOOKING POLICY

The first night’s rate (pre-tax) plus resort fee (plus tax) will be charged at time of booking to secure your reservation.

After booking, your request will be processed and you will receive your confirmation immediately. The information entered into this form will be sent via a secure server.

All payment balances must be paid on the day of your arrival before you enter your Cottage.

All cancellations and any changes to your reservation must be done by email (bookings@santascottages.com) or by telephone during normal office hours.

Any cancellations will be charged a $40 cancellation fee per Cottage. To avoid being charged a one night stay, cancellations must be done 10 days prior of your arrival date. If you change your reservation 2 days or less to your arrival date the full amount of your reservation will be charged. This includes any cancellations due to inclement weather.

Check-in is available from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Central Time during the off-season. Early check-in may be available for an additional fee of $30. This item can be added during booking, but is not guaranteed if you wait until the day of your arrival to request. 

Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-outs may be available for an additional fee of $30; check with the Front Office for availability.

Please note: All times are Central.

We use unique door codes that are determined by information provided at time of booking your reservation and will be outlined in further detailed in your “Welcome” email to be sent out the day of your arrival.

The access schedule follows the above check-in/check-out times unless you have selected early check-in or late check-out. (Please check with our office for early check-in/late check-out availability.)

Fireworks are strictly prohibited on Santa’s Cottages property.

If caught shooting off fireworks, you may be requested to leave the premises and will not be eligible for a refund for your stay. If a refusal to comply with this policy takes place, local law enforcement will be contacted and you will be escorted off property.

No exceptions for holidays apply.

Firepits are available for use at each Cottage. Guests are to use these fire pits at their own risk.

Santa’s Cottages sells firewood and fire starter pucks in Santa’s Sundries. Santa’s Cottages holds no responsibility for the Guest’s use of the firepits and are not accountable for any actions taken by the Guest while using these firepits.

We ask that you use the firepits responsibly and that someone is within eye site of the firepits at all times while in use. Please do not leave your children unattended near a firepit at any time.

Please Note: Due to state regulations, please do not bring wood from outside Indiana.

AUTO-COLLECTION

A deposit for the first night’s stay is collected at the time of purchase. A Resort fee of 12% of daily rate per Cottage is charged at time of purchase.

Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase.

The ONE TIME resort fee¹ provides every Guest with:

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.

Dogs are welcome at Santa’s Cottages!

For a one-time, non-refundable $50 pet fee, up to two dogs are allowed. Dogs must be under 50 pounds, and must be kept on leashes or in a carrier outside of the Cottage, and must be attended at all times. Pets are not allowed in the lakes or pool areas. Pets must be up-to-date on all vaccines, including rabies vaccine. Click here for full pet agreement form.

If you’re planning to visit Holiday World for the day, you may want to consider taking them to the Holidog Inn kennel for the day.

The Reindeer Express will run every Saturday 9:00 to 10:00 AMCentral Time beginning May 1 until Memorial Day weekend. From Memorial Day through October, the train will run every day except Tuesday and Thursday.

There is a $2.50 charge per person Memorial Day until Halloween.

Smoking is not allowed in any of our Cottages.

Any evidence of smoking inside a Cottage will result in a $200 cleaning fee. Smoking is allowed on outside patios.
